About this subspecialty
The Amplify Center, a subspecialty within the Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences, offers support and guidance for young adults (16–29 years of age) with mild to moderate mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns, emerging mood or stress-related conditions and other emotional challenges common in young adulthood.
Our team provides coordinated, developmentally informed care, including collaborative psychiatric consultation, therapy and psychosocial skill building, peer support, employment and educational guidance and resource navigation. If more complex or acute needs are identified, we help connect you to the most appropriate level of care. We are dedicated to supporting your emotional well-being, strengthening resilience and helping you thrive in your personal, academic and professional life.
Our treatment approach
At UT Medicine, we take an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to your care. This means you will benefit from the expertise of multiple specialists across a variety of disciplines caring for you in one place — avoiding the need to schedule multiple appointments with providers at locations all over the city.
UT Medicine is anchored by Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, where we collaborate with colleagues to apply leading-edge research, diagnostic and treatment techniques to the diagnosis and treatment of your condition. Advanced imaging and lab testing are also available on-site if needed.
